Hand Clutch

Post by R W »

Were any Fordson County Crawlers (Power Major Vintage) fitted with a hand operated clutch.
Looking at certain videos and photos It would appear that some of these machines may have been fitted with a hand clutch. They may have been fitted as an extra.
Any information regarding this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You. R W

Thanks for your reply. Looks like the hand clutch had to be held in the release position, appears to be a lever and rod set up in place of the foot clutch.

yes from the film you clearly have to hold it the thrust bearing wouldnt stand being out for to long any way i think the peddal may still be there as the link part no 9755 is slotted to allow interaction with something else
