Hi all, couldn't help but post a couple of photos of the old girl in the field from this past weekend. We were baling some straw with it, and the old fan belt decided to give out. I parked in against the corn and couldn't help but take a few shots. Subsequently, can anybody help me with a useable number for the early (wide) fan belt I can use to attempt to cross reference locally for a new belt? (ie: brands....gates, napa, etc.)
Thanks,
Witty

Re: field shots
Lovely tractor, Witty. Very original condition, and after sixty and more years it's still doing a serious job of work, and doing it well.
Apologies, but I can't help with your fan belt enquiry.
Thanks for posting these great photos.
By the way, what neck of the woods are you in?
Best, Adrian.

Re: field shots
Local parts house was able to look up the fan belt by application, which surprised me. I live in northwestern Minnesota. Bought the tractor at the estate sale of the original owner, and so began the obsession. When she purrs, there is nothing else like it.

Re: field shots
I thought that corn looked a little bit too tall for our part of the world!
Would love to see more photos of your Fordson and your farm.
Best, Adrian.
