I was thinking of our beloved Oscar when I read this article. Oscar travels by air, has a passion for his guitars and also composes and sings his own songs.........

That guy did the best possible thing. Airlines don't care about guitars, they care about bad publicity. So far, I've only travelled with my Baby Taylor travel guitar and I take that into the cabin with me. It's very sturdy, comes in a top-notch gigbag and fits into an overhead cabin. With some airlines, when I board the plane, a stewardess voluntarily offers to stow it in a crew clothes locker for me, which is great. On Northwest, which I fly a lot, the response is usually "hey, it's your choice to bring that thing on the plane, so don't bother me with it".

Now that's getting a company's attention for sure, plus he may have a hit on the country charts.
