Has anyone purchased a heater switch lately? I just got one and it is u/s. Not only does it not switch, but one of the terminals is shorted to the body!! Not good for one's wiring especially if you've no fuse
I am checking my electrical components for continuity/insulation with a meter before fitting,
All the best,

We got ours from Agriline earlier this year for less than £20. I'm sure it identical to this one you have pictured. Cables were attached to the terminal lugs with short screws and nuts, pretty sure our broken was the same also as the nuts and screws were taken from that.
Ours is a 1962 SD if it makes any difference

I see the short now, looks like a return jobbie unless you get a needle file out. If it were me I'd nip down Agriline and try and get them to replace it (Made in China?)

Rich,
Hi, Is your Agriline one working OK?
Thanks,
Yup, fitted it in the spring after 20 years of it not functioning. The orginal glow plug was fine as there was a mass of smoke coming out of the inlet manifold (we had the hose off) as the plug heated up for the first time.
Started the old gal a week or so ago which was the first time in 8 months due to the hydraulic issues (see our website), For 6 months it was out in the field in all weather and the whole system worked first time and started great. We did fit a rubber button cover also from Agriline both seem to fit fine.
