1956 Fordson Major ignition keys

1956 Fordson Major ignition keys

I have managed to loose the keys for a 1956 fordson major, does anybody know where to find a replacement? they are not the same as lucas and i have tried a screw driver!!

On the lock there will be a number something like MRN306. If you take this to a locksmith he may be able to help you. Most city centres have cobblers who offer key cutting services. The problem will be the initial blank.

Otherwise try quoting the number you find to a local car club. They too may be able to help.

My '56 Major has a Wilmott Breedon (Union) key. No blank for it in France. Fortunately, the ignition is a little slack and I found a couple of spares that fit.
