I just subscribed for the Meddo festival 18 and 19 September 2010 in Meddo (near Winterswijk) in the Netherlands.
I am going to make the trip from Amsterdam to Meddo with my SuperMajor...it's about 150 km (100 miles).
I know Emiel will be there too. Frans will probably be there (by car).
I am counting on Brian and Ann of course! Perhaps with their petrol Dexta?
Anyone else coming?
Brian,
in which hotel are you going to stay? I am looking for a nice hotel namely.
Eva will be there too...not by tractor but by motorcycle.
Looking forward to meet you all over there
Best regards,
Pascal
Fordson's don't leak oil, they are just marking their territory.
Hotel Frerikshof, Winterswijk, (hope the spelling is nearly right). We are already booked in.
Don't know yet whether Dotty will be there. My friend who lends the trailer will not take anything for the loan and I feel bad about it. Still Ann and I will be there and looking forward to it.
I shall be ploughing at Brimfield on Sunday 5th September. Brimfield is near Ludlow in Shropshire. Mark Pugh and I would welcome anyone who can make it to the Petrol Dexta plots!
We may also be representing the Ford and Fordson Association of England.

I will be joining in on Saturday to have a look at your 6 cil. Don’t know yet about Sunday. But I will try to stay at the same hotel as Brian.
The evening diners are great over there. Or was it the guests.
Right! Its settled! With Emiel permission, Dotty and plough will be coming to Meddo, (and possibly doing a tour of Holland as well).
We are staying this time in the National Park in the centre of the country. Starting on Friday 10th of September and finishing the week after the Show.

When you visit the National Park, buy a day ticket, use the white bikes and go back in the evening with your car. Then you will see some deer’s and wild swine’s in the middle of the park between light and darkness.
Or better, use Dotty.
Right chaps, Signing off shortly for a few days as we travel across Holland to the Show.
Looking forward to meeting old friends and new. We shall be floating around Emiel's display where Dotty and the PM plough will be on display alongside Pascals's Super-Duper Major!
Many thanks to Emiel and his father for their hospitality! We shall have to book our own stand for next year!

My dexta has 32 Horse power, but a donkey behind the steering wheel.
Apperently someone spreaded the news, that there's an original petrol Dexta is coming from the UK to Meddo ...because all the hotels around Meddo are overbooked...
Eva telephoned with about 10 hotels....no rooms left.
Finally we found a hotel in a place called Eibergen.
Brian,
could you please give that guy a call...the weather forecasts aren't that good...and the "cabin" of my Super is leaking a bit..
Best regards,
Pascal
