Hi all
Anybody thinking of going? It's a good show and breaks the winter dormancy.
I will be there on the Saturday.

Hi Matt
I'll look out for your tractors.
I'll be with a friend, both in mid 60's grey hair, one with glasses.

Re: Somerset Tractor Show 5-6 Feb 2011
Thanks for putting me onto the Somerset Tractor Show. Had to travel down from London to Devon on the Saturday, so started early and went to the show.
It's a really good show for mid winter, 3 big sheds of tractors, mainly post war and with a starter. The standard of the entries was excellent.
Went to Pugh's auction.

and bought a Ford toplink.
There were enough lots to make it interesting, and most lots got away OK.
I didn't bid on the pile of Fordson N parts, they and the back axle on the lorry made £750
The almost complete Fordson N behind made £800.

The trade stands were good too.
If you have the mid winter blues in 2012 , this show should give you a lift.
Thanks again.

I'll endorse that!
A very interesting variety of tractors from old (Ferg brown) to 1980's Countys.
My mate managed to find some Nuffy bits so he was chuffed too.
Auction was v slow.
