Looking for super major handles

Post by Kre1979 »

I'm trying to find a good old set of super major bonnet handles as I don't really want to fit brand new ones. Also looking for the oil pressure warning switch which bolts into block near the dynamo.
Many thanks

Kev

Hi Kev. I have some bonnet handles but not sure they are what you are looking for. This bonnet came with a parts tractor I bought, it was a Major but the bonnet and nose cone were painted alike and badge on front is super major. I have a Power Major and this bonnet is different from mine, it has more support, what I call a rib from middle to outside on each side. The biggest thing is shipping based on your location. I have found out not cheap to ship international inclulding the customs, vat taxes whatever all is included. I have been able to ship to someone the purchaser knew in US and then I believe the cost can be not as high with them mailing to you, I really don't know. Anyway if anyone know's what bonnet I may have thanks in advance.

Hi Gman,
Shipping to England isn't too bad for smaller stuff. If the girth plus length of the package equals less than 36" and it weighs less than 5 pounds, it will ship first class. The first class rate for one pound from here to England is about $11.00. There should be no VAT or import duty on a gift.

Major hood latch handles are narrow. Super Major ones are wider and flatter. If you post some pictures, we can tell you which ones you have.
