Super major dual clutch

Post by liam »

Hi All,

I contacted a local company about getting my dual clutch reconditioned. I was told if there was any wear in the clutch lever pins that it wouldn't be successful. I have a clutch and it has a good pressure plate and no cracks but the PTO plate hub is loose on the rivets so I was thinking of getting it repaired while the tractor is apart. I was hoping to get it reconditioned rather than buying a new clutch as a new clutch is very expensive. Can anybody tell me more about this please?
Thanks in advance, Liam

I replaced a PTO Clutch plate in one a number of years ago because the hub had broke loose. I aquired the parts and pulled the pressure plates apart myself. It was not that bad to do. The tractor is still running fine. Dandy Dave!
