head bolt torque

hi im trying to find out what to torque my head bolts to on my e1a major i have the tightening sequence but can not find the torque settings ?????
if any one could help cheers phil

Try the search buton. I'm sure it's somewere on this forum of the majors.

tractorman,

The Torque figures for the Power Major/ New Major are:-
Head Bolts marked 100 - Diesel Engine 85-80 lbs ft - Petrol/Kerosene Engine 75-80 lbs ft.
Head Bolts marked 80 - Diesel Engine N/A - Petrol/Kerosene Engine 75-80 lbs ft.

This figures should be obtained with lightly oiled threads.
