Hello,i have just bought a howard reduction box for a fordson major and i have heard that you can install the box backwards to give more road speed,if anyone has any ideas how to do this please let me know,i can show some images if it would help,many thanks.mike

Hi,
I don't think it's possible to just mount the reduction box backwards.
You can probably replace the gears, but than you will have to figure out how many teeth each gear will have to have
to increase the speed.
If you do intend to do this, I am very curious about your ideas.
