Thought to give the old gal some winter chores. Wouldn't want her to get fat with age and all.
the Western plow has it's own hydraulic pac, which suits the Fordson just fine. It takes about 30 seconds of running to restore the battery after a lift and swing of the blade. That old generator is no high output unit.
The frame goes back to the rear axle pads in two hitches, making a connection at the mid mount pads . the pipe sections on hand suggested the design

The mounting frame fouled with the starter crank and cooler grill. I'll need to fab up some guard for the delecate cooling fins. Getting used to the self starter is another matter, I keep walking around th tractor, setting the spark and throttle, opening the fuel tap, then to the front. Now it's just fuel on and up to the driver's post.
I've had the Fordson for over 35 years here in Vermont USA. She starts and runs sweetly. I did have to rebuild the engine some years back. The front main crank bearing was loose (falling out really) did up the entire Engine , pistons and valves etc. when it was down. (not an inexpensive task)
Now, how do I post the photos? Using the "Img" button does not yield useful results
