Bracket for clutch pedal

The image shows my 1958 stopbracket for the clutch pedal. The type for a new major, or power major, with double clutch- Live Drive. On the super it is different.

Last year when I put the breakes in condition, for the first time since 1974. I found this hanging and bent. Thus I straightened it. Unfortunately it should not be this straight.

Does anyone have the possibility to take some picture and make some measurement of how it should look and how far the pedal should be pressed before reaching the stops? I think it should be somewhat tilted forward?
