I have problems with my super dexta engine. it smokes bad it makes starnge soundes. I was woundering: does a perkins AD 3-152 (MF 135) fit a Super Dexta? (with changing the oilpan and the adapter plate)IP: Logged |

It will fit but you may have to change a few parts like fuel pump (DPA on Fergy), front mounting plate, timing cover etc. Flywheel will be different as well.Don't forget to immerse it for at least a week in strong disinfectant so as not to pass anything nasty on to your Blue Beauty. Brian is right! An "AD 3-152" -engine is direct injected. Therefor you have may have to change the whole engine, including the dieselpump. All blocks on 3-144, and 3-152 engines fits to your old timing gear case, to your Super Dexta's flywheel and clutch housing, as well as to your old oil sump.

Ole, Brian is also right about disinfecting the M@@@y F@#%&^*n before you attempt to put it on a Fordson Dexta. Makes for a nice job! MarkIP: Logged |
