Due to lack of information through our local dealers and search engines, I'm hoping someone can help me price my Ford tractor.

The Super Dexta is in great running shape, very strong engine and hydraulics but, living in Houston, it can use some cosmetic work, here everything has a tendency to rust.

I'd like to post a price of $2000.00 USD but I don't want to overprice myself. I've acquired a new tractor and no longer have use for the old Ford.

Thanks in advance for any help,
Joe

I've been trying to get $4900CDN for mine for 6 months without 1 call. Its a nice 62 Super all done up with new rubber, the right lights, gauges ETC. I guess I have to lower the price, but I hate to give it away. I'm going to try lowering the price a bit.

We paid $3000 for each of ours in Canada. One we bought a few years ago was a 61 and tired, worn tires etc.- with a trip bucket. The other we just got, its a nice clean New Perf. Superdexta with worn tires. Now I'd like to find a loader for that one.

jvara,
i'm next door in louisiana, actually only a couple of hours away and i paid $1200 for mine(1960 dexta). it ran with severe blowby, everything else worked that was still there, it did have a newly rebuilt starter and a relatively new clutch(double). she was/is rough looking but getting better. aparently having run into something the front cowl was smashed a little, and there was a gash on the steering shaft which appears to have come from the impact. no telling what they've gone through when you find them. with a new rebuild, some paint, front tires, injector pump rebuild,odds/ends i've got about $3000 in her, but ready for another 40 years of work.

in the last year i have come across only 2 others around here. one i almost bought, he was asking $2600, it had a new clutch, but needed a rebuild also. too pricy i thought, but may have been better looking than mine. just yesterday i found one on a used tractor lot, a 58' with a fresh rebuild, they were asking $4500, they must be very proud or it must be in really good shape. i still would like to get a pic up here of yours just to get a better idea, and out of curiosity.

thanks, david

I have just bought a Narrow Dexta ('59) for 800 Euro (about 1000$)
General shape good(all mechanics are working), only bad looking.
