Temperature Gauge "Wire" Routing - a newbie asks

Greetings to one and all from drizzly Cornwall.

After six years of Super Dexta ownership I'm happy to have finally discovered this forum.

Without success I've searched here and on the old forum for information on routing the "feed wire" to the temperature gauge.

I would be grateful for any advice either written or pictorial.

TIA

Welcome to the forum, I too have a Super Dexta.

Try looking in the parts manual on this site

http://www.fordsontractorpages.nl/manua ... _parts.htm

there are some good explode diagrams, but not sure if they show the route for the wire though. From memory it runs down the steering column through the tank then follows the wiring loom, but can't be certain at moment as mine isn't fitted yet.

Thanks RossM

Mine's a 1964 (April) and scruffy as can be. I got an age-related registration for it last month so I'm learning to drive it on the road, which is interesting.

I've had a look through the parts book link without any joy. I'll try again this evening.

Wiring loom? What wiring loom?!

All done now, great fun.
