Many thanks to Dawn and Barry for a look at tractors on the other side of the world.

Wow!
What an extremely great series of pictures!! Thank you for sharing!
Quite some County's over there. I really like the 4000-4 in the second series!
Is the County "longnose" an 1474 or an 1884?

The FW is a league of its own...what an beast!

Great video Pascal! Now here is the plan, I will win the Euro lottery this month, go to Australia, buy one of these and an 8401 and have them both on Emiel's stand at Meddo!

Should not be too much trouble to drive the FW back to the boat with the 8401, Rover and Dotty on the back on two trailers! :buddies: Could be a problem getting on the boat though.

Barry says there are two more 8401s in The Netherlands, they have been brought over for tractor pulling. What a waste of a beautiful tractor.

Hi Brian,

That sounds like a great plan! Of course I will escort you from the boat to Meddo! 8)

There are two 8401's over here indeed.
One is owned by a famous Dutch tractor exporter Van Dijk in Deurne. I have heard the tractor is in the shed for years now.
This is an old (2002) picture: http://www.tractorfan.nl/picture/705865/
Not sure though if the tractor is original...probably not. :scratchhead:

This is the other one: http://www.tractorfan.nl/picture/840207/
It's imported by a enthusiast in the Southern part of The Netherlands. I don't know him (yet :D ).

Hi Brockwood,

I believe he's a hero! What a great collection he has!
Best regards,
Pascal

Hi Brian,

Today I met the owner of this 8401 http://www.tractorfan.nl/picture/840207/
He is an incredible nice guy and a true Ford enthousiastic.

He even gave me the chance to sit in the cab and enjoy the view on the hood.
I now totally understand your love for these tractors, Brian.

He has the tractor for his hobby and does NOT use it for tractor pulling.

Pascal
