1959 Power Major Head gasket
What the general view on using the standard replacement head gasket (as in Agriline engine overhaul kit) or fitting the copper head gasket.
The engine block is a replacement, therefore was not match the the original head.

I would use the composition one. I haven't had any problems with the after-market ones, but the the majority opinion here, is to use a genuine New Holland one.

Hi Keith, I was advised to use a genuine New Holland one. So I called up my local NH dealers and waited for the sharp intake of breath as they told me the price! But i was surprised to hear that is only around £5 - £10 more than the agriline one.
