1959 Power Major Head gasket

Post by Keith@montloue »

What the general view on using the standard replacement head gasket (as in Agriline engine overhaul kit) or fitting the copper head gasket. :? The engine block is a replacement, therefore was not match the the original head.
Cheers

I would use the composition one. I haven't had any problems with the after-market ones, but the the majority opinion here, is to use a genuine New Holland one.

Hi Keith, I was advised to use a genuine New Holland one. So I called up my local NH dealers and waited for the sharp intake of breath as they told me the price! But i was surprised to hear that is only around £5 - £10 more than the agriline one.

All the Best

Steve
