Super Major Tachometer???

Hi could anyone please tell me which direction should a Oct 1961 Super Major tachometer turn clockwise or anti clockwise.

If you have the meter cable to the back of a Minimec pump then it´s anticlockvise and if you have the cable to a little gear nearly in the front end of the engine then it´s clockvise

Hi Grani. thanks for you swift reply it is the latter it is driven off a small gear at the front not at the rear of the pump.
