Hello:
Seeing videos of WW2 in Youtube, I have surprised to see in the Red Square of Moscow (Already it was called like that in times of the czars, since in red and beautiful Russian they are synonymous) what it looks like Fordson crawlers dragging cannons. Look at the minute 1,44.
Ford mounted in USSR factories of tractors and trucks, like the famous one in Spain truck "3HC".

hi David
If you look at the size of the crew on the crawlers I don't think they are the small fordson crawlers as there are two crew and the cannon must weigh quite a few tons and would be quite a strain for a Fordson.
Regards
Jerry

Hi David
I googled "russian WW2 gun tractors" and found this website.
No specification but the text mention they are a copy of Caterpillar 60 tractors which had an HP of 60 which is a bit more than a Fordson standard of 27hp.

Hello all the People!
Jerry: you are right, I was thinking about seeing the petrol tank just as of F or N, since many Fordson were bought by USSR and I believe that also they were made under patents Ford in USSR.
Possibly some of them were used in the war, but I do not know if photos exist. In the Spaniard Civil War, was used to drag cannons.
Bests Regards: David.
