Hey guys and gals.

I recently got a 60's Fordson super major given to me, that hasnt been ran in a few years. I had towed the tractor home with my f250, and immediately liked the tractor. I noticed right away the live pto, and the diff lock features.

The bad is the plungers in the injector pump were stuck, and ive only been able to free up three of the four. There was a little rust build up and it took alot of cleaning with some sea foam carb cleaner to get it to a shape where it may be useable (IF I can get the last plunger unstuck!!, its been sitting in my shed soaking with atf for a few days now)

Anyways just wanted to throw a picture or two of my "new" tractor project in here, introduce myself, and I hope be able to contribute to this very informative forum, as well as find a little info about my own tractor!

Welcome Preppypyro,

(What's in a name)

Nice tractor and as you say very complete.

If I'm not mistaken we have two other board member from Saskatchewan.

Please make your picture a bit smaller when you load them up. It makes it easier to read the topic.
Kind regards, Henk

Thanks guys.

My user name... when my friends and I first started playing on the internet, we went into chat rooms. One of my real life nicknames was preppy ( because I was into sports in high school) and my buddies real life nickname was pyro (he actually was a pyro, burnt his own car to the ground, and tried starting the school on fire several times). One day we both went into a chatroom and we used this chat name, and it kinda stuck with me ever since!

Sorry about the picture size too, I have a fairly good quality camera and the pictures always come out so nice when they are larger!

Henk and other Fire Fox browser users get this add on

Image Zoom 0.4.4 ;by Jason Adams

This add on will help with pix that are either to small or to big. Image Zoom is my most used add on.

I have tried and tested many add ons and have got it down to a short list of the best for me. If you are interested in those just ask.

Some men always thought they wanted to be farmers, what they discovered really, is that they only just wanted to drive the tractors! ;)
