major and super major date

hey can someone help me with these numbers ?

fordson major e1a dkn : J14V date ? year?

fordson super major 08C year ´63 : 3K22 date ?

J14V=July 14, 1954
3K22=Sept. 22, 1963

The codes are all laid out in the Major data on the main page.

The codes you quote are only the date of the casting you got them off not the date of the tractor. Each casting has its own code and to get an idea of the age you would need as many as possible.

To confirm the date, you need the engine/serial number from under No.1 injector or, on the early Majors, on the flange behind the starter.

I know about the engine code , thats why I know my super major is from 63.

but my old major have got another engine that it was born whit

The number is not under No.1 injector of a 1954 Major, its on the flange between the engine and the clutch so it may still be there or on the metal plate on the firewall.
