Nice job mate i'll drop mine off 10 am monday you can do it as well. i'll pick it up around 11.35 you'd av it done by then wouldn't ya!
What a clown maybe the local circus or Noddy is looking for more transport  .
by the time he bought the steel and put the time in to making all that tin work i bet the proper tin would of only cost 250 more.
Also I bet with proper tin he would get 2000 plus for it as well if you could get within 1/2 mile of the 3pt hitch and the proper drawbar.
Id give him the start bid though if i was just down the road as I need a good motor and it's going to cost that to re do my 6D properly  . Just for fun I put a watch on it so well see what it does.
Regards Robert

There were no bids... I thought about it just to put her out of her misery but decided I have enough projects.

How about this?

There was a similar steamer back here that was owned by a local tractor and engine club member. He swore it was original, but you could see that it was pieced together. The rear wheels and bull gears were from an F-12 farmall on rubber. I think the only thing that may have been original was the steam engine itself. The boiler was much newer with welded seams... Definitly not from the 1880's or even the 1920's for that matter. It was best to not say anything to this fellow as he would start hollarin that you didn't know nothing. Reminds me of what my father told me years ago, Always watch out for the guy that talks the loudest, and fastest in a pub. He thinks he is the smartest. Dandy Dave!

When i first saw this tractor on E-bay item 190452104500 i thought it was this Guy having a bit of fun with us on FTP's, then i saw the picture of a tractor in Tractor Magazine, Nov page 92. It was then i realised his tractor is a later version of the "Long Winged Fordson". wonder if any one else has seen it. Jim.
