In the original 1957 workshop manual it calls for 3/4" free pedal movement for the dual clutch adjustment but in the 1962 Super Dexta owners manual it states 1 1/4".
Is the Super Dexta different or is the 1 1/4" an update for all Dextas?
And.. what should the Petrol Dexta to be set at?
Thanks,
Les
Just checked the '57 & '60 Dexta instruction manuals this morning and it is also 1 1/4" there so workshop manual might be a misprint?
Double clutch adjustment?
Thanks James but...
I had another look at the manuals and found that the single clutch free play is 3/4" in the 1957 workshop and owners manuals but has increased to 1 1/4" in the 1960 owners manual and the 1962 Super Dexta owners manual?
These are "Export" owners manuals so maybe there is a bit of a difference?

Your right Les,
i have just checkedmy owners hand book and it says 11/4 " they could of done this so people didnt get confused.
Just like the early days of the manual for the standard fordson it sayed drain the oil at the first 50hrs and never said to refill with oil after. they had a few problems with engines with this and reprinted the manual to state refill with oil.
