Re: Fordson Major 4WD Selene
Looks like a good project
will have to watch it and see what price it goes to
On a slightly different track,
is anyone able to supply a diagram or pictures of how the clutch linkage works on these tractors. With the transfer case where it is, the clutch linkage has to either go around, or through the transfer case.
Any help would be appreicated.

Re: Fordson Major 4WD Selene
I don't know anything about Selene conversions (obviously). Why does it say Manuel on the front diff.?
Re: Fordson Major 4WD Selene
I have only Roadless drawings to give You but I think it is only minor differences compared to Selene. The clutch linkage goes under the transferbox and has a special design clutchpedal. http://fordson.se/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3159

Re: Fordson Major 4WD Selene
Selene was formed by two assosiates , Dr Sion Segre-Amar and Signor Cantore and the name Selene is belived to have been derived from the name of Segre-Amar´s wife. The trade name for the conversion, Manuel was derived from the name of Segre-Amar´s son Emmanuel.JC wrote:I don't know anything about Selene conversions (obviously). Re: Fordson Major 4WD Selene
Kev, the Selene is almost identical to the Roadless, other than I see the Roadless pedal has three different linkage holes to select from whereas the Selene only has one. This was a issue when I converted mine over to live PTO even with the live pivot arm.
This is how mine looked when I got it.

Unless anyone can think of another way, you can cut & paste it into Word as it is composed of images. A bit laborious. Once in Word you can stretch each image to fill a page.neilarmo wrote:That's a great link Grani, now how do I scale it down to A4 to print off for reference?
