3 pt. hitch for Fordson N

Post by terreintijger »

Hello everyone, i`m new on this forum. My passion are Fordson tractors, especially the Major range and it`s conversions. This topic is not for me, since i do not own a tractor myself, but for a friend who ownes and restores Fordson tractors. Including a Fordson N, for which we are looking for a 3 pt. hitch. I know what you are thinking right now, a standard Fordson N never came with hydraulics. That`s correct, but there were a few manufacturers like Adrolic and Royal Oak that made a device called "Power Lift" or "Power Unit", which could be mounted afterwards to get the advantage of having a 3 pt. hitch. Our goal (and hope) is to find and purchase such a device. I`ve been looking all over the net but the only thing i found sofar is a folder. Since this forum is about Fordson tractors i hope someone can help me with my search.

Hello Terreintijger,

Is your friend the guy with the P6 Fordson N?

Finding that lift isn't impossible, but probably you'll find rocking horse manure first ;).

Best chances in UK I think.

Best regards
