Re: e1 adkn MANIFOLD EXHAUST TORQUE SETTING
hi there
the manual says the manifold bolts should be 20 - 25 lbs.ft
be careful when tightening not to break a lug off as these manifolds are very hard to come by.
as for tyre pressures 25lbs in the front and 14lbs in the back and you should be ok.

Re: e1 adkn MANIFOLD EXHAUST TORQUE SETTING
shame to hear the manifold is in poor condition , because they get so hot the metal crystallises and cracks and they don't weld well , I wouldn't try and weld it yourself apparently its a specialist job .

If it is not Burned out to bad, then it can be taken to a welding shop that has an oven to heat it, and cast iron rod to weld it. I've repaired a few early manifolds myself by heating them and gas welding them with cast iron rod. Definetley not a job for the old red buzz box, and tractor supply 6013 welding rod. Dandy Dave!
Have a Fordsonful day Folks!

www.rosewoodmachine.com lists half a dozen different Fordson manifolds in their online antique tractor parts catalog including some back to 1917-18. They are in Rosewood, Ohio and are a reputable company. Good luck!

Never give up!
