hi
does anyone here know if it is the same housing for both the n/p raised (1:1) pto andd the "old" raised pto ( 1:1.333) , will it be able to simply change the gears inside ????

According to the New Holland website, the part number for the housing changed in June 1963. That makes sense, because when the ratio changed, the gear size changed, so the distance between bearings in the housing would have changed too.

When you get to the search box, put the letters FMD. A list will come up and the tractor list is near the bottom. Dandy Dave!

Thanks for the link to New Holland.
Have tried to get on their site from England; but they want me to register, give business details, tractors owned etc. submitted all this but they never came back with a login.
So thanks again, i'll be on their site tonight, and annoying the man at the parts counter tomorrow.

, I have no problem finding the old ones , and I even found a later (service model) , with the big shaft and bearing on the end , but still 1:1,33 gear
