ok so how do i tell what the engine is from then that first page wont open needs a user name and pass word

the engine on my major is very similar to yours, giving it starts with 500E. Mines number is 500E36938, these aparently are engines out of the thames trucks (basicly the same i think), the difference is that they rev a bit higher.

And then some.
500E was the truck before the Thames Trader. Also known as the ET6 it could be had with a flat head V8 or the trusty "Cost Cutter 4" available in petrol or diesel.

I've heard that the diesel truck engines turned faster than our tractor engines. Were there any other differences?

And if you do end up buying a new switch make sure its the right one, they sometimes send out the wrong one's and they don't fit.

New switch got an alls workibetter tyres fitted now as well
