Hi all,
At what pressure should the oil warning light go on/off? I think the sensor on mines had it so just want to check with a guage. Hope its not the mains! Also what pressures can I expect warm? 40psi tick over? 60 full revs?
Cheers.

Re: Oil Pressure
Sins Dexta did,nt have any pressuregauge you have to mount some, by take out the oilpresureswitch (just under exosmanifold) and screew in a oilpr.gauge in that hole... or send your oilpr.switch to anybody who can tell you. - But is this necessary? pick of the wire and connect a testlamp or something like that, and you will see whatewer your oilswitch is working or not. Did your tractor have good cond. at your engine? or is it tired of a long life? This is why the oilpressure are low or high? but the oil-lamp will work anyvay, if wiring and bulb is in ok cond.Dexta Guy wrote:Hi all,

Re: Oil Pressure
Yeah the wiring is fine as i replaced it all. I'm pretty sure the sensor has had it as the light has only ever gone off once. I just wanted to check the pressure with my guage whilst i had it out to see what it ran at.
Does anyone know where i can get an original style pressure sensor? Not the ones with the snap connector fitting.
