Changing to double acting remotes.
I have a 1964 Super Major and am looking at changing the single remote hydraulics to a double acting one. Just wondering if any one else has done this and if it is as straight forward as it looks (4 bolts or so and a simple switch over). Also I was wondering if any one can tell me what the levers and knobs do on the control thats under the seat. Thanks.

Re: Changing to double acting remotes.
If you search the New Major forum for "Super Major - DAR fitment" there was a long post on this subject.
Re: Changing to double acting remotes.
Hope this helps.

You cannot fit just any DAR Valve, it has to be one for a Super Major/Dexta. The later '000nd Series look similar but the porting is wrong.
You can use a separate unit and take the supply from the Aux.Port then drill and tap the filler plug for the return.
