Dexta Value
I have a Fordson Dexta Diesel that I might be selling in a few weeks. I assume it is around a '58 model. It runs good and has pretty good sheet metal. I recently changed all of the fluids. Everything works except the glow plugs. Does anyone on here know what I should ask for it? Actually, I am more interested in what I can get for it. I live in Alabama.
Over here in England it would range from £600.00 off farm ($1200) to around £1800.00. ($3600).
I bought my petrol Dexta for £2000.00 as a non-runner in May this year.
I have seen some advertised at £2850.00 ($5700) and £3500.00 ($7000) and if it had Roadless 4WD you could expect the bidding to start at around £30,000 ($60,000).
You would need to be more certain of the date too. Check the codes on the rear axles and clutch housing and also post the serial number from behind the starter.

How about Roadless Majors (mine for instance) in England. What would be a normal price? Just curious.
