Bit of a strange one!
I have a 1953 transmission and backed but a mk2 engine with a mechanical governor has anyone else' seen or have something similar.is this a proper fordson job? Or a farmer conversion!

No MkII engine has a mechanical governer on a normal New or Power Major. Maybe it's a truck or industrial engine.

I think the engine had a pneumatic governor on it originally as the intake manifold has the vacuum pipes on it still also the linkage is there I heard they give more power and are more controllable could be wrong though

Make a search. there must be a few topics about the uploading of pictures.
The pump is more powerfull. Don't know if the MkII can handle it.
