Re: colour codes
hi kenneth,
thanks for the reply, not keen on agriline paints, tried them and not happy!
i do have a very good supplier of paints that i like to use and get good results, hence asking for colour codes,
i have been asked to restore two 'new performance majors' and a fordson super major by my neighbour ,i thought i would ask for the colour codes before i start shot blasting,

If I am Reading this question Correctly The guy is asking If any body has the color codes/ blending information to get a company in the U.K to mix it not what color the tractor is and that you can buy it from Agriline bepco or any body else pre mixed

Re: colour codes
Hi Joe, not exactly an easy question to answer, it seems the original paint codes have long ago been forgotten, Possibly the original suppliers no longer exist. If you go to New Holland the blue they sell is a mix of old and new that is nowhere close to the original, and none of the empire blue I have found over here in the US is close ether. A few years ago I took some buffing compound to the underside of a front cowl and got the original paint nice and shiny blue. Than laid down several different brands of paint and Agrilines Empire blue was almost a perfect match. I would suggest getting some of theirs, spraying it on a sample piece and then take it to a paint shop that has a “color gun” that can determine the color and custom mix some good enamel or two part basecoat/topcoat, or you could find something close and insist that you color scheme is correct and everyone else’s is wrong…..which a lot of them probably are!

Re: colour codes
hi pat ,
thanks for the reply, this is the response i'm getting from my local dealers.the trouble is the majors i have to restore are so rough there are no nice bits of paint left and one has been painted with a 'tar brush' lol.
i will keep searching , some one surely must have a colour code!
