Fordson Timeing.

Post by thestig246 »

Morning all,

im just comming to putting the injector pump back on now, but not sure what the timing should be set too :? The good old book says that it can be either 19 or 23 degrees depending on the head gasket. Mine is the compasite type one so was assuming it would be 19 but not really sure?? :?

When it comes to timming the injec pump do you just sett the degree on the flywheel then move the drive pad so it lines up :? Also is there a way you could get it wrong by having it 180 degrees on the wrong stroke type of thing.

Many thanks again Dan.
