you could drill it out, and put a clamping bush in ( don't know if this , is the right english word )

in my cause there was a clamping bush in it (if you dont understand me , let me know a can make picture of it)

I dimly remember having this problem rebuilding my NP Super Major a few years ago. I think I took the left hand cover off the side of the transmission (the one with the gear selectors and oil filler/level plug) and used a bar, or piece of wood across the transmission, up against the handbrake operating cam (The mechanism that pushes against the handbrake plates) to stop it moving in, as you work the handbrake lever onto the shaft. Hope this is a solution, as with my memory, it could have been on something else with a transmission parking brake.

All sorted many thanks :) i ground the head off the pin and gave it a good hitt and managed to tap the pin out :beer:

As far as i can see the seal looks to be the same as the cross shaft seals
