How far must you tow your boat from the sea? It's nice to live by the sea. It looks like a nice boat too.

I have found a picture of my Roadless´s twinbrother. Only a bit of paintwork and a 590E engine and it would be hard to see the differece.

You have a great tractor. With the 6 cylinder engine, I bet it is a very capable machine.

I think so because the fenders are positioned 12 cm wider (and the wheels turned over) to get more space for the hydraulic tank inside the right fender. This modification was done in Finland by the loader manufacturer. The cab is as wide as the fenders. The loader is a 63 model as well. I have removed the balance weight from the rear and installed the normal agri 3 poit lift and a hitch hook instead. (hope you understand what I mean) The new length of the tractor gives the extra weight needed at the rear.

This solves the cab mystery, it has been put there by the loader manufacturer in some kind of serial production. (2 anyway)

Yes, and I can se a bit of fabric thats hanging down on the loaderframe, mine is of tin plate but I think the fabric is original.

Today I found an invitation in my mailbox. I am invited with my Roadless to the 90th anniversary of Roadless Traction.

It says: Bring your Roadless tractor and plough or tractor only for static display.

Return slip to express interest. It shoud take me 3 days and 16h to drive without any stop the 2630km trip, and then home again of course.

It is the thought that count´s.

That must be one heck of a frame on your boat hauler, you said the boat weighs in at 6 tons, and it's only a single axle trailer. How's it made?

It is made of three H beams welded together. One to the front with the hitchfastening and the two other on each side of the keel under the boat. The beams are 160mm*330mm so the strength is not a problem. It has a dollyjack to lift the front of the boat and then it i possible to pull the hauler forward to access the hull för service. On the pictures that i done.

It allso has a hydraulic steering that is wery usefull in tight turns.

Is that a bow thruster on the front of the boat,
and is the hydraulic steering on the boat trailer operated manually from the tractor.

Yes and it is hydraulic and the hydraulic motor is in the middle of the tunnel with the screw directly on the output shaft. (my design)
Yes the steering is operated by a lever under the seat. I had to change the pressure valve on the tractor to the newer one to keep up a continous high pressure for the steering.

Yes it fit´s and that´s why the trailer has to be pulled forvard when painting the keel.

I don´t take the trailer in the water, a lift the boat with a crane.
