Re: roadless/selene axle diagram
The only way to do it is to simply put the whole axle upside down. That is what they have done on Fordson Majors.

Re: roadless/selene axle diagram
Ok but should it not be possible to simply turn the diff. Around ?
On roadless there is a extension axle for the pto ,
Do they also use that on selene , when the 4 wd box is not so
thick ?

Re: roadless/selene axle diagram
the diff house is already sitting in the right side , but is
made for reverse driving (like on loaders)

The gears do not fit the other way in the housing. If the axle is from a backloader you have to put it upside down to get it right for a normal Major.d.andersen wrote:the diff house is already sitting in the right side , but is

Ok but then the drive shaft will turn forward would it not ?
And the bracket for mounting will then turn down will it not ?
On the picture of the truck/lorry you sent , the sits in the right
side that is not possible on tractor .

With the two pictures you can se the diff at it´s original position on the truck it was designed for, and how it is the other way on the Major. The shaft is allways pointing backwards.d.andersen wrote:Grani wrote:The gears do not fit the other way in the housing.
