By September I'd got the wings on and a few little jobs squared up, I was planning to take the 3 furrow reversible you can see on the New Holland ploughing but it would only just manage to lift it off the floor so any chance of it lifting it out the ground was going to be slim, so the assister ram I've got is now on the bench ready for a when I've got some time. I needed to shine the boards up on my match plough anyway so me and the old man set off in partnership... although we had no break downs, using the tractor was becoming hard work as the injection pump was constantly hunting and surging which was contributing to wheel slip and a bad back

Now into the last week in January and a week off work, I set to and removed the injection pump and injectors and took them into the local diesel specialists, popped round to the local hydraulic suppliers and got all the fittings pipes and olives to renew all the leaking diesel pipes and to fit an oil pressure line to the new engine which i had never had... at working temperature - Idle 20psi --- 1600 rpm 50psi how does that sound? I the refitted the Reconditioned injectors with new nozzles and injection pump, set all the valve clearances and set to making all the new pipework up. Below are the results and if you look at my album there's many more I've not included - http://s1280.photobucket.com/user/Stu_F ... t=2&page=1
