How do I free a hanging plunger regards darryl

There are 4 inside the injector pump that push the fuel up to head because the tractor as been stood for a while one is stuck in the hanging position thanks darryl

You will have to be very careful and soak it with easing oil.

Any damage on the pumping element will mean it is scrap because of the small clearances within the pump. These are measured in microns and even a small scratch or rust discolouration can ruin the components. Soak the element in Automatic Transmission Fluid as this could be your best bet to free it up.

Under no circumstances do you want to use a hammer and punch however lightly you tap it.
