Hi, took the major out the weekend for a run out, to find the bonnet stay keeps dropping, originally I think there was a clip to lock it in.
Have had a look on the Internet to see if I could find one but haven't yet just wondering if anyone has bought one?/ knows w,here I can get one preferably online.
Many thanks
Dan

Re: Bonnet holder clip
Dear Dan
Tricky one. There should be a support rod clip attached to a clip retainer, which is secured to the bonnet by a couple of rivets. The rivets are 5/32in x 1/4in round head. The only source I found for the clip and retainer was off an old bonnet. ..........well it actually took me 3 old bonnets before I found a decent replacement clip!

Re: Bonnet holder clip
They new fangled neodymium (sp?) magnets are useful for holding steel to steel while looking for the real thing - Computer hard drives usually have a couple, don't trap skin between magnets or magnet & steel though

Forgot about those Henk - sometimes called 'Terry' Clips in the UK (after the original makers)

Re: Bonnet holder clip
Sorry, I don't remember. Found them between some toolboard parts and they fit just right.
Kind regards, Henk

Thanks forthe tip.
I have the same problem on my Dexta.
Maybe the 6mm Terry clip will do?
