Tractor World 2009

Post by Mike Kuscher »

Anyone planning on going to the Tractor World 2009 show, this coming Saturday and Sunday, at the 3 Counties Showground Malvern ?

I had to miss out last year , plastering and fitting a new kitchen had to come first. :(
I plan on going on Saturday myself.

Hi Mike,

I am planning to go on Saturday. I hope it stays dry!

It would be good to meet up with yourself and any other board members that are there. If interested we could arrange a time when we could meet at the Ford & Fordson stand?

Hi Barry,

I was more concerned with car parks, I don't have a 4x4. Two years ago it was a real mud bath, I really struggled to get out after the show:cry:

You can take your tractor if it is a mud bath and enjoy it instead.

I might just do that! though the forecast is good at the moment.

It is an excellent show, there are good displays of tractors both in original and concours condition, an auction of tractors, machinery and parts and plenty of trade stands. The trand stands usually give very good deals at the show so it is worth buying any parts that you need there, it is worth the cost of the ticket for the savings.

Can one buy a ticket on the day at the gate?
There are Major bits for sale in the auction but not many Dexta bits.
Thanks,
Ben

I know it's late (11:30 pm) but I can confirm that Human Resources Direcor (Kath) says i can be released for the day and Financial Director (Kath again) says funds are available so, I will be at the show tomorrow.

Tickets are available at the gate, 8 GBP adults and 6 GBP children and concessions.

Hi Mike/Ben,

I will keep my eyes open for you. I will make a point of being around the Ford and Fordson stand around 1.00pm if you happen to be in the vicinity.

I hope you have a great day, I always look forward to this show as it is the first major show of the year after a long Winter!

P.S. I will try and take a few photos to keep the rest of the board happy!

Chris,
I'm really interested in photos of the stands, and layout etc. A lot of us never get to see shows like this and most phot reports are just of the Tractors. We'd like to see "The Show" if you know what i mean. Thanks, and enjoy yourselves ..... you lucky buggers! :)
