This is my firts post on the Dexta board I think.
My friend Dies has bought himself a Super Dexta. It was from his neighbor and he saw it new delivered.
It's a march 1963 Super Dexta with strangly enough blue fenders and grey wheels. Have any one seen that before? The NP series started in june 63.
The nose has been replaced afther is came in contact with the shed wall.
It has now a nose with the orange emblem. (super dexta)
Headlights grey and outside the grill. My thought these are NP models mounted on the outside as on the super dexta export.
The grills have 3x2 decalls on the grill.
Oustion is? I nearly am afraid to ask, what should be the coulor if de grill?
I don't have a picture because it now under restoration and getting a new coat of blue.

Henk, without a doubt silver. My father had a 1963 Super back in the days and I clearly recall them been silver. Also had blue lights on the outside with orange rims and blue mudguards. Also the orange large Super Dexta badge in front with the Fordson badges on the bonnet as we call them here in my country.

The enginenumber is 09B 710586. This makes it a februari / march 1962. So it was delivered one year later at the neighbor from Dies. It could be shipped without wheels and with blue fenders and got it's wheels one year later in the grey colour.

Kind regards, Henk

That tractor number makes it one of the first Supers.henk wrote:The enginenumber is 09B 710586. This makes it a februari / march 1962. So it was delivered one year later at the neighbor from Dies. Do you have the engine no (should start 16...) and any casting codes, inc for the engine?
It's nice that you know the history from new.

No numbers yet. I will ask Dies next time I visite him.
My gues is because it's one of the first, the old and new colours could be used.
