Fordson Super Major Wheel Nut Size

Gents,

Does anyone know what size spanner / socket I'll need to undo the rear wheel nuts on my super major please? I'm away from the tractor currently and need to get the wheel off to repair a puncture in the tube. Also I need to clean the rim up as it is extremely corroded which has caused the puncture. What paint would be best to paint the inside of the rim with so that it'll be nice a slippery when I put the tyre back on and also to halt any further corrosion of the rim.

38mm i'm using, should be 1,5 inch ?
