You are still worried about the power output of your rebuilt engine.
Could you talk us through the rebuild in detail?
The likelihood remains that all is well and that you need to give your engine some serious work to bed it in.
In answer to your question, I have never done a compression test on my Major.
Best, Adrian.

Engine was completely disassembled, block and con rods were checked by engine rebuild shop, crankshaft reground, new liners, pistons, rings installed. Cyclinder head rebuilt by engine rebuild shop, new camshaft ,rebuilt injectors and fuel injection pump installed. I compression tested and all cylinders were the same @ 245psi. Stilled baffled???????

Still cannot see where you have gone wrong. On the contrary, everything listed regarding the rebuild is just as it should be.
To say again, I have never done a compression test, so cannot advise, though other members will definitely know about this.
It comes back again to putting the engine under load over a prolonged period.
And don't forget that you are aiming at a maximum PTO HP of low 40's on a Blue/Orange Super.

I'd love to see a photo of your tractor.

I think Aidrian is correct, a couple of months ago I had a question regarding a valve seal leak and oil coming out the exhaust and I was advised to give my pm hard work , so I did and the oil stopped coming out the exhaust, these tractors really do need hard work to bed in the new engines ,

Re: Compression test on Fordson super engine
I did a compression test on my Ebro engine
Nr1 20bar
Nr2 20bar
Nr3 17.5bar
Nr4 17.5bar, with some oil it gets to 20bar
Must say the engine was cold, since i have my injectors out for cleaning and testing
