Hi all,
I have a power major with a two stage clutch that seems excessively jumpy to operate. It's almost like a switch, on or off. I have the clutch off the tractor and have been told to check the finger bolt adjusters to see if they're all the same height and check the rivets in the friction plates for play. All seems ok so I'm not sure as to the problem. Has anyone got any ideas?
Thanks, Ben

Re: Two stage clutch
Is the clutch disc free of oil?
It could be the spring section of the clutch plate. So a new plate in there and it's done.
