Lift question
Lift question
Hello all. I have a 63 Super Dexta that needs to have some repair work done on the hydraulic lift. Before I dismantle it I'm hoping someone can determine the problem. If I pull all the way up on the lift lever the implement will raise only a slight amount. If I hold the constant/qualitrol lever down midway between positions the lift will raise all the way up and hold. If I switch it to either positions it will lower immediately. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Re: Lift question
Goodeeeevening,
Had a similar problem with the super major i bought recentley, turned out to be due to links inside the hydraulic cover having seized in rust!!!

Re: Lift question
Not without holding the constant/qualitrol lever halfway between positions. It will work correctly on occasion but most of the time the the lever has to be held in the mid position.
