Fordson Super Dexta top speed?
Has anyone found out exactly how fast a Fordson Super Dexta will go in H3? Has anyone used a speed camera to verify the maximum speed?

Thanks Bro,
Thanks "kiwiland dexta" for your reply, forced to go over the wrong side of the Bombay hills tomorrow (not allowed to take the ute, have to drive the car!), if I get caught up in rush hour traffic I will see if the "Jafa's" go slower than the Super Dexta. Super dexta can't go as fast as the Hamilton traffic, there pretty quick out there!(Hamilton 400 coming up) Might try and get the local speed camera van on SH1 to see how fast the Super Dexta goes (30k+ ?)

Oh yes. The Hamilton 400 is not far away.

I won't be there this year, but I'll be there next year.
Oscar. 42km/h is pretty good for a 50 year old tractor.

The manual certainly offer a range of figures depending on the year and tyre size @ 2000 rpm, from 27.05 - 27.95kph. The "New" Super was rated at 2250rpm doing 31.44kph. I guess if you want to crank out a few more rpm, who knows!
You're in Hamilton? We had a few years in Oto. April... fog season starting.
Regards, Derek.

Derek
I went to Oto college myself, but left a few years before you got there. My last year was 1979, before heading off to Wanganui to do my apprenticeship. Wow, it seems such a long time ago.
Are you still teaching? My wife is a Vets nurse here on the Island, as well as being a fully qualified Equine Massage Therapist.
Boy I miss Kiwi.

Kev, opted out of the classroom couple of yrs ago, now in retail. Blenheim a great town, superb tractor museum (Brayshaw Park Heritage Museum) among other things.. like Marlborough Wine!
Your last year at school same as mine, only I was in Gisborne on a farm.
