I definitely think the stud will be easier to keep from breaking in the hole, but it could be difficult to find suitable studs.

I'm sure you are right, i've spent too much time on leyland engines lately!
My biggest fear is that when i die my wife will sell my tractors for what i told her they cost

I'm happy to report manifold fit nicely. I did use the bolts that were present. Rain and getting dark prevented a run, but tomorrow's another day.

just finished skidding some firewood. You can see Hyacinth needs a lot, but she's my favorite!

Looking really good there, a good clean and she'll be good as new again. I see you have some of the ato clutch release stuff on there.

There were more parts for the auto clutch release. I removed some, not sure why.

If you have the top link you could use the ato clutch release when ploughing, the top link is very rare and expensive nowadays.

Definitely don't have that top link. Just that loop, forgot what it's called.
